Its time to showcase your knowledge as the National Productivity Council-Kanpur (Under DPIIT and Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India) is all set to conduct a National On-line Productivity Quiz -2020 (OPQz) in the areas of Energy, Environment and Industry Practices. This online quiz will be held on October 18 and October 24. 

The National Productivity Council of India is an autonomous organization under DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It has a national mission to promote the cause of Productivity in all sectors and achieve all-round economic development in India. NPC has 13 Regional Offices with its corporate headquarter in New Delhi and strength of around 120 full time professional consultants.

The participants have to select only one area out of three areas- Energy, Environment, and Industry Practices for the Productivity Quiz. In the section of energy, the quiz will cover electrical, thermal and building energy conservation while in the section of Industry Practices, it will cover International Labor Organization Book, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. One of the major section of this quiz is the environment that will cover burning issues such as air and noise pollution, disposal environmental hazardous waste, industrial and domestic wastewater treatment. In the environment section, it will also cover, environmental Laws, Protocols and Conventions.  There are two categories-College category and an open category for the participants. Students in any year or semester of Graduation Degree in any stream may participate in “College Category” and Graduate person in any stream with age above 25 years may participate in “Open Category”. Participation fee for the college category is Rs. 944 per student while in the open category, the participation fee is Rs. 1062 per participant.

This online productivity quiz 2020 in both categories will be conducted in two stages. Stage one will be an online objective test (basic) which will be conducted on October 18 in both the categories. Participants who will clear stage one will be eligible for stage two quiz which will be conducted on October 24, through any digital media platform.

There will be three prizes in each category- 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Winners will get prizes along with Certificate of National Level from National Productivity Council.  Are you a quiz-master and wanna do something productive in these trying time, then hurry up as the last date for the registration is October 10, 2020.
